Your Church Newsletter: Inform, Communicate and Share
Just as a places of worship can offer more effective ministry when
it has a clear vision of what it is trying to accomplish, so does
your newsletter. Email Newsletters take very little time to produce
and distribute effectively. Deciding what you are trying to
accomplish can help you make decisions about the design and layout
of your newsletter as well as frequency. Here are some general
guidelines:
-
Invite People on your website to join the mailing
list.
-
Spell out clearly that you will be sending them a
newsletter at least once a month. Do not send out more than once
a week.
-
Keep the tone of your newsletter positive.
-
Include images of past activities and events in
the newsletter to visualize and encourage participation.
-
No matter what your primary purpose is, your
newsletter will be read more if it as an easy to use design, the
pages are laid out with some white space and artwork.
